Free Annual Credit Report

Well, the lawmakers think there is such a thing as an annual free credit report, but the implementation of this law is – let’s say – less than perfect. What good is an annual credit report, if someone damages your credit history right after you pulled your last report? You’ll sit in the dark for maybe 11 months or more before you can clean up your credit history.

If you are financially responsible and want to make sure your good name stays clean of fraudulent activity, you will need more than one credit report per year. You need credit reports or notifications about your credit report the moment something changes. Email and SMS are tools that allow these kind of notifications. All you need now is a provider that a) monitors your credit report and b) will notify you when activity appears in your credit history.

I have been working with Gofreecredit.com on credit reporting and credit history monitoring and I am very impressed with the performance of this program. What’s even better besides having your credit report taken care off – you a) get the credit reports from all 3 credit bureaus and b) you also find out what your credit score is. Why is that important? Your credit score determines how credit worthy you are. It determines how much you pay for car insurance. It determines the interest rate on your credit cards, car loan, and mortgage. It is very important to know the credit score and to grow it until it falls into the category “Perfect Credit”. Take a look at the GoFreeCredit.com offer. You get free credit reports and credit scores + you can test drive credit report monitoring instantly.
